Magic Flower Fairy Baskets

I thought I would devote a post just to this one particular Christmas make because it needs a few photos to explain and show it off properly.

It's a crochet project that was great fun to make and I think makes a super novelty gift at any time of the year, not just Christmas.

So here's the first photo -

So what you may ask, is so exciting about that, well watch and see how they change -

Isn't that just so cute.

The lovely pattern is a freebie.  It's called Magical Flower Child Flip Flop Basket and it's by Pan Perkins.  You can download the pattern here.

Have a good day - I've just got a new Dyson vacuum cleaner, so I'm off to clean a few carpets - simple pleasures!

  5. Oh they are so cute. How do they stay up? Is it just because the crochet is quite rigid. Failed to learn to crochet this year, but they might be enough to motivate me.

    1. Hi Ginny, yes, the crochet is rigid enough to hold them up and keep the shape. With all your crafty cleverness I'm sure you will master crochet before long.
